Brilliant, easy listening

First play through I wasn’t blown away, but then I never usually am. Now I can’t stop listening.
There are some brilliant up lifting tracks here and then some beautiful poignant ones. The album has everything.
All my dreams, that chorus just gets stuck in my head. So good.
Birds fly does what is says and carries you away gently with it.
Surprised by the joy is good fun.
That’s how strong will get you thinking about that one you love.
Born to be strangers is a funky little number, which just lifts you up again after its predecessor and again with That’s When I Feel it; that’s one that’ll lift you up.
We all bleed is a completely different animal. Chilled, yet heavy. Harsh in parts yet delicately beautiful. It’ll carry you away somewhere.
A Man in Motion, for me, may be the best. It’s just a runaway song that sweeps you with it. It will lift you up. Great tune.
Streets of Amsterdam is a clever little number. Clever lyrics and deep. It feels like it’s come from his first album, alone with everybody. Cool track.
Now, Money Money is one hell of a way to finish an album. It goes out with a bang. A proper rock tune that sounds straight out of an Oasis/Liam Gallagher catalog. Lyrics make me think that it’s a dig towards artists selling out. Maybe someone specific. Anyway, it’s a banger.
As you were..

Beautiful as ever

Money money rocks - the rest of the album is different - more acoustic but still quality - ignore the critics - this is not the mad Richard from the Verve but a more mature man writing music that is head and shoulders above all the other X factor dross
