EDITORS’ NOTES

Fifteen years is several lifetimes in pop. Fortunately for Steps, their pop was never beholden to vogueish trends—they’ve consistently dealt in the unashamedly feel-good. The band’s fifth album—and first non-festive effort since 2000’s Buzz—stays true to these values. “Story of a Heart” is a magisterial Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson orginal you’re amazed Steps haven’t recorded before now, “No More Tears on the Dancefloor” allows Lee and H a rare chance to shine, while “Scared of the Dark” might be a career-best single.

Can't wait!

I don't mind the idea of the re-release at all. Hoping the new tracks will add even more to an already flawless album, ten tracks was always too short in my mind!

Not long now till the tour!

What a great year to be a Steps fan!
