On their second album, L.A.’s 3TEETH cull elements of '90s industrial rock—icy programming, distorted vocal growls and digitally treated guitars—to create a modern sonic dystopia. Among the highlights are "Atrophy", an electro-tinted slice of venomous boogie metal, and the dark synth-pop swashbuckle of "Pit of Fire", which slithers along on a coiled rhythm before exploding into cacophonous noise. Better still is "Voiceless", in which misty atmospherics and siren-like vocals add an ethereal lightness to 3TEETH’s steel-toed rhythmic stomp.
