“Dance music has been a passion of mine since I was a teenager,” Ridney tells Apple Music. “I remember saving up my paper-round money to buy my first set of decks and slowly building my record collection. Back then, it felt like every week another 12-inch was released that would go on to become a clubbing anthem.” Ridney’s passion for vinyl is reflected in both his October 2025 attempt to break the record for visiting the most record stores in 24 hours and this exclusive March 2026 set, which showcases some of the DJ/producer’s favourite cuts from his personal archive. “Over the years of DJing in venues, I’ve built up a great collection of these records, and this mix brings them all together,” he says. “It layers anthem on top of anthem in a DJ set made for fans of classic UK dance music, by a huge fan of UK dance music! I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.”
