Editors' Notes For his second self-titled album, Ty Segall—the premier peddler of '10s garage rock—hit the studio with a full backing band, including singer/songwriter Mikal Cronin and members of The Cairo Gang and Fuzz. The LP is a 10-track tour through Segall’s various strengths and styles: There’s the mostly acoustic and completely love-bitten “Orange Color Queen,” the swampy groove of “The Only One,” and the many-headed, 10-minute “Warm Hands (Freedom Returned).” A worthy entry in a catalog that continues to spill outward.
