True Dutch (House) Masters

Rene and Gaston have been in the game 20 years and there's very few who can say they have written house music history as large as the Chocolate Puma guys over such as consistent and storied career. I have been a fan throughout this time and I can tell you their music is as influential in 2011 as it was back in the early 1990s.

This set has ALL their classic tracks in one place but what's even better is that they have taken the time to revisit nearly every single track in the package one way or another; as a re-edit, remix and remaster nearly every single track. It's impressive to say the least.

There are some real gems here. Check out the 2011 re-edit of their 1993 hit as The Good Men, Give It Up. It was a massive record at the time and sounds fresh as a daisy today, especially as it has been re-worked so sensitively. There's brand new tracks like their take on The Yardbirds' 'For Your Love' plus a new version of the remix of Boris D'Lugosch's Never Enough, which features Roisin Murphy's classic vocal.

Chocolate Puma are also two great DJs - if you get to see them live don't say I didn't warn you! They are simply superb!
