FEWS is a unique mash of a band, with band-members from several countries whom release a very distinct, deep, unfurling debut on their interpretation of post-punk which garnered praise of the highest level. Here their sophomore carries on that same sound but go deeper and darker with some real standout tracks.

Most of the songs feature light lyrical work and more focus on their sound - which has always been their guiding statement on their feeling of themselves as a band - with more cascading post-punk riffing and wild sparks and changes in tempo. What’s also quite great is that it may seem like an unfinished piece of work, whereas the raw, gritting, almost capricious nature of the album is what makes it unique. They assuredly know what band they want to be and how they want to sound, while still having fun live on stage or in the focused recording studios. We need more of FEWS.
