Zips about my headphones

I bought this album of the sell off rack at my local library and I have been listening to it ever since. Haunting sounds zip about my heasdphones it gets mellow and lifts with rocky inspirtional numbers you can dance to like Medication and Motorhead, you have to listen to the songs all through to get the full effect a bit like Radiohead. Medication has nearly worn out on my copy.

This is their grestest record, no question

Whilst this was spectacularly unfashionable at the time of it release as the world either went one way with the pop of Oasis and Blur or the comforting misery of Radiohead and The Verve, these eternal party animals went a wrote a record steeped in the effects of drug psychosis. But somehow it works brilliantly. Forget Screamadelica, for it is mostly dull (it only got such interest because UK music at that time was in a right old state). 'Vanishing Point' is dark, broody, funky, sonically interesting, lyrically provacative and overall extremely affecting. Even the trad rockers have something different from the southern rock crap they usually rip-off. Buy this first, then Exterminator, then their second self-titled album.

Moody Brilliance

This album is somewhat under-rated I think, because it actually is really good. You can really feel Mani's funky bass grooves all over this record, and this is a record that's all about the groove. It's not as good as 'Screamadelica' or 'Xtrmntr' but it is just as important
