Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth are two precociously gifted teens (BFFs, of course) who have synthesised their influences into something entirely bewitching. Their pair’s fledgling catalogue ghosts into otherworldly realms (try the haunting “Deep Six Textbook” and “Sink”’s blissed-out electronica), while “Eat Shiitake Mushrooms” is a toxically cute, half-rapped, half-sung pop track that cackles with mischief. And ghosting beneath its fragrant, ear-worm chorus sits something a little bit sinister and hugely interesting.
