The missing Jesus

Actually, this album is notable for the complete absence of any of Dylan's evangelical Christian songs from his three overtly Christian albums - which is a big shame as this was a fruitful period indeed, Dylan's being born again showing in the fervour and inspiration and spirituality of the music he made. He really had something to say, really something prophetic, while many of those who had tried to insist against Dylan's own wishes that he was a prophet or "spokesman for a generation" in the '60s, now that he really had been visited by the Lord, didn't want to hear his message. Very sad, but that's the way of the world.

What are itunes on?

This is actually a career-spanning compilation, not a collection of outtakes from Self-Portrait. Although it contains many good songs, I'd recommend anyone to get the CD box set which for a couple of quid more contains 50+ tracks, including some rare gems.

Wrong review by i tunes!!!- not the 1st time.

The i tunes review is incorrect. This is not the Dylan CD of the 70's but a new greatest collection with the same name. If you are new to Dylan start with this. Most of his best tracks on this which span 5 decades.
