EDITORS’ NOTES

blink-182 get reinvigorated with the help of a new member—Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba. Packing blistering pace and surprising range, California soars when Skiba has room to unleash his smokey holler, like on impassioned highlight "Left Alone." Crisp guitar tones and hum-worthy melodies take front seat, but there’s plenty of pop-punk silliness along the way.

BLINK 'TIL I DIE!

"Bored to Death" and "Rabbit Hole" are flawless. Every aspect of the songs take us back all those years ago to that Blink sound we group loving. Nothing but perfection from these guys time and time again. Don't even notice Tom Delonge's absence. Mark Hoppus, Matt Skiba and Travis Barker compliment each other so well that when you hear them it just feels like home.

What's up with all the NANAs?!

It's like they've taken blink's most popular song (All the small things) and tried to use the NA's from that in everything.

I was expecting more. This is a mix of Blink-182, Alkaline Trio and Goldfinger, yet a lot of the songs sound nothing like any of the 3. E.g. Sober...full on cheddar cheese.

Despite this, I do like it. Cynical is favourite. They will all grow on me. But ultimately, blink is not blink without Tom Delonge's iconic voice which a whole genre is based around.
