Göksel Demirpençe has proven herself to be one of Turkey's most emotionally intuitive songwriters, making her an excellent guide for winter’s many musical moods. Her picks take in the wistful (Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers”) and the irresistibly slinky (Daft Punk’s “Lose Yourself to Dance”), with a few of her own choice cuts like the achingly pretty “Yalnız Kuş” for good measure.
