Outside of the storm and fury of their best-known songs, a gentler Fall emerges. It's there in the skippy soul of “15 Ways”, the acoustic guitar and milk-bottle clangs of “Fit and Working Again” and the quietly psychedelic “Popcorn Double Feature.” Even the fiery and New Wave-ish “Bingo-Master's Break-Out!” suggests a melodic warmth at odds with Mark E. Smith's scathing remonstrations.
