His signature tune, “Mr Clicketty Cane (Wash Your Face in Orange Juice)”, rattles off absurd actions to rival its goofy subtitle, while the reggae-slanted “Spaghetti Bolognaise” is a spirited ode to the favourite dish of Aussie kids. Even more upbeat is the infectious New Wave of “Newspaper Mama”. It’s no surprise, then, that Combe regularly performs separate live shows for adults, giving his longtime fans a chance to reconnect with their inner child.
