Fabien Marsaud, a.k.a. Grand Corps Malade, stands 6'4" and was a basketball star before a diving accident left him unable to walk (hence the name, which translates to "tall, sick body"). He surprised everyone, not only by walking again, but by throwing himself into slam poetry and music, and releasing his 2006 debut, Midi 20.
