Air: Deep Cuts

Air: Deep Cuts

When collaborating with French electronic's leading lights, Air subtly stretch their sound's dimensions. Back in 1996 they sketched out their downbeat sound with Etienne de Crécy on “Soldissimo”; Mr. Oizo's glitchy remix of “Don't Be Light”, meanwhile, aims for the dance floors that Air's music usually skirts. And “Close Your Eyes”, with Jean-Michel Jarre, is a perfect merger of the duo's dreamy atmospheres with the pioneer's analogue sensibility.
