In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hailing from Kwa Zulu Natal in a small town “Empangeni” UMngomezulu’s love for music began early in 2000. He immersed himself in writing electronic music in 2009. His EPs and debut album “Remedies” received widespread attention in the music scene. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Culoe De Song, A Giant Leap DJ Fresh (SA), House Afrika: Fresh House Flava, Vol. 1 (DJ Mix) Vinny Da Vinci, House Afrika: Deep House Sounds Vol. 4 (DJ Mix) They take me to a point in my life were there was true inspiration and a positive mindset to keep my head up. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love You More (feat. Jeru)” This song was inspired by Kaskade my childhood hero, while I was composing the beat I was inspired by songs like "its you its me" by Kaskade. Than Jeru composed very emotional lyrics to give the song a more stronger message. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I dropped my album Remedies it was the most memorable thing ever and people supported it so much until this day. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is a lot to mention including plans plus collaborations in the near future but lets just say we shall see what the future holds for UMngomezulu.
