In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Life Story formed in Southend-On-Sea, Essex in 1984 from the local art school scene. Being a bit of a show off, I took on the vocals, playing my father’s 1960s Epiphone Broadway guitar which I found under the stairs. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Elvis Costello & The Attractions, Armed Forces Remastered 2020 Julian Cope, World Shut Your Mouth Soft Cell, The Art of Falling Apart Armed Forces was the first album I owned. The musical craftsmanship and songwriting blew my mind. World Shut Your Mouth introduced the band to experimental arrangement and alternative expression.
