In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We were busking with my band a long time ago, when I was about 12. An old man stopped and listened to us. At the end of our performance, he came up to me and said, “Thank you, you made me happy,” and then he left. Forever in me. That’s music. I discovered Jason Isbell in NYC years ago, and it truly took my musical journey to another level. “Continuum” is one of those masterpieces that will remain unmatched forever. Tell us why you chose this song. “Brooklyn's Wall” I wrote “Run Away” while sitting on a bench at the Santa Monica Pier in LA. It was right between the Covid lockdowns. I was 22, and I felt free.
