At the end of 2nd grade, we had a little test playing Mary had a Little Lamb, and then clapping a rhythm. The teacher put us in band or orchestra based on our proficiency. Unfortunately, I got orchestra. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Guarded Heart” Someone I cared about, who had a traumatic life history and turned to alcohol, said something damaging behind my back to a friend who later told me about it. This song was my response and goodbye. Funny fact: I had a cold when I recorded it.
