In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Having grown up in a family of musicians, all my earliest memories involve music. I think the most important memory though is listening to Stevie Wonder and Elton John while in the backseat of my mother's car. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? JAY-Z, The Blueprint Kanye West, Graduation Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly To Pimp a Butterfly is the epitome of rap music, period: especially for an instrumentalist. The Blueprint is the perfect example of a rap music victory lap. Graduation introduced me to rap and remains my main reference for how to use melodies. Tell us why you chose this song. “No Practice” I successfully created a transition using my cello playing, which had been a goal for a long time. It was a word of mouth hit, enabling a friendship with a motion designer who created an amazing lyric video for it. It shows my artistic complexities. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Probably reaching 100k streams on my old song 'Impeccable'. The achievement is not that impressive, but I learned a lot about promoting a song, so I cherish the accomplishment. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Everything. I won't stop until there's nothing left, though.
