In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is of me finally growing to a height where I could reach the tonearm on my parents turntable and play records for myself, getting lost in the gatefold album artwork. A passion was ignited instantly. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brian Eno, Ambient 1: Music for Airports Grails, Chalice Hymnal The Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream These 3 albums hit very deeply, and remind me on a regular basis of the emotive power of music. Tell us why you chose this song. “Divine Administration” In Beijing in 2011 we came across an instrument museum, with examples you could play. There was no one else around, so I came up with this motif and recorded it there and then. All the instruments you hear, except the guitars, were sampled that day. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Doing a VJ set at the Wildside Festival in Central Australia and using a 300 million-year-old escarpment as a makeshift projector screen.
