In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up in a musical family, my mum was in a choir and she would often practice these huge latin songs to perform in church, the notes and harmonies where enchanting and spin chilling. I guess I still try to re-live those emotions with my music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Elbow, Little Fictions Glen Campbell, Reunion: The Songs of Jimmy Webb Radiohead, A Moon Shaped Pool Clearly impossible to choose 3 albums as I may feel different tomorrow , but Radio head manage to cross genres without criticism , I hate labelling. Elbow are the band I wish I could be and Jimmy Webb just one of the worlds best songwriters. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Portable Living Room” This was a point in my life when I realised I could write a song and to have the best male vocalist I have ever worked with, Martin Barnard, sing on it was very special for me. His performance is breathtaking. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The one tomorrow. When I wake up and the world has finally woken up and all is at peace. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A spade to go in my bucket. We can then all build a castle big enough to house all the amazing musicians passed and present to perform an amazing concert for the true members of Alpha, the fans.
