Teaming up with vocalist Talia Mar on tender, piano-laden ballads, here Sigala makes a welcome return to creative comforts for a stirring Apple Music Home Session. “It was the gateway to where I am today, and it’s usually how I start my songs,” he tells Apple Music on playing piano across the three-track serving. “So it’s nice to strip things back to the core and let them really shine acoustically. For me, it really reinforced the value of working collaboratively.” On sombre adaptations of huge house anthems “Melody” and “Stay The Night”, the pair’s smooth chemistry comes to the fore in gorgeous style. And for the closer: a swinging, harpsichord-laden cover of Destiny’s Child track “Bills Bills Bills”—with Sigala at the keys. “So much love and time has gone into making it the best body of work it can be,” he says of his forthcoming follow up to 2018's Brighter Days. “It feels really special to me, and I hope that translates to everyone who listens to it! Expect a slightly clubbier edge with heaps of my signature sound all over it. And I can’t forget the killer features, too!”
