C-Murder's rap sheet ended up overshadowing his rapping after he seemingly started taking his name too literally and wound up with a life sentence. But as a member of his brother Master P's No Limit crew, the New Orleans native played a major part in the emergence of the Southern hip-hop scene in the late ‘90s.
