In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember finding Stevie Wonders Innervisions album when i was young in my mother’s music collection. I learned the song Living For the City which got me into all my performing arts schools. Middle school, high school, and college. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Stevie Wonder, Innervisions Remastered I choose these three albums because in terms of song writing and musicality they are top tier. These three albums changed the shape of music in their own way. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cali” It’s one of my favorite songs on the album. There is this amazing guitar solo that pours into a musical transition with horns and moves into a different groove of the song. This song has everything that i love to hear in music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I was in Hamilton I got to meet Prince. He threw a party and performed just for some of the broadway community after one of our shows. I’ll never forget it. He is one my favorite artists of all time. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to perform my music with a live band and also an orchestra at the same time.
