Brothers Mikko, Kie and Jonne von Hertzen released their debut album, Experience, in 2001 and, with it, unleashed their moody mash-up of metal, punk, grunge and classic rock. Armed with a sound reminiscent of bands like AC/DC and Pink Floyd, the group made an impact with LPs like 2006's Approach or standout tracks like “Let Thy Will Be Done”. Von Hertzen Brothers' third full-length, 2008's Love Remains the Same, topped the Finnish charts for three weeks and featured meteoric hits like the infectious “Freedom Fighter”, a track simmering with analogue synth.
