Ray Dee Ohh Essentials

Fronted by Maria Bramsen and Caroline Henderson (now an award-winning jazz-pop solo singer), Ray Dee Ohh leapt from the slipstream of Stock, Aitken and Waterman's hit factory in the late ‘80s, adapting the gleaming synth-pop of Kylie Minogue and Rick Astley for the Danish-speaking world. Hi-NRG disco hits like “Elskes Af Dig” and sleek soft rockers such as “Brændende Læber” helped the seven-piece shift half a million albums between 1988 and 1992; the cocktail of Fleetwood Mac's Tango in the Night and Jason Donovan's Ten Good Reasons deserves a generous toast.
