A classically trained vocalist of Punjabi descent, Neha Bhasin broke into the music world in the early 2000s as part of pop band Viva. She then established herself in the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu film industries as a playback singer. Bhasin became the potent voice behind songs like “Kuchh Khaas” for 2008 movie Fashion and made grandiose hits like “Swag Se Swagat” with composer duo Vishal & Shekhar for the action flick Tiger Zinda Hai. She’s consistently found a home on hit soundtracks since.
