Hard rock/alternative-metal favourites Fuel officially began in 1994, but it wasn't until four years later that the Pennsylvania-bred band broke big in the States. Their Epic Records debut Sunburn spawned four singles and went platinum in America and Australia. Following U.S. chart-topping success with 2000's Something Like Human, the lineup shuffled, but original singer Brett Scallions returned to the fold in 2010. Along the way, everyone's aggressive fingerprints rubbed off on Daughtry (who was once offered but respectfully declined the lead spot) and Shinedown, among others.
