Since co-fronting ‘80s Danish chart pop sensations Ray Dee Ohh, Caroline Henderson has been a major name in Scandinavian music. Her award-winning solo debut, 1995's Cinemataztic, marked a shift in sound. Thanks to this concoction of smoky jazz, hi-energy synth-pop and touches of intoxicating trip-hop, her success has continued to bloom. When she wasn't making “Unchained Melody”, “Hot Stuff” and plenty more her own on 2000 covers album Dolores J – The Butterfly, she was morphing into a world-beating singer of jazz torch songs, her plush, soulful voice having grown affectingly husky since her pop days.
