An Italian pop star who first caught the public's attention in 2016 as a contestant on the popular Maria De Filippi-hosted reality television talent show Amici, Thomas Bocchimpani, who operates under the mononym Thomas, was born San Giuseppe di Cassola in the Vicenza Province of Italy. A self-taught singer, guitarist, and dancer, Thomas, who cites Michael Jackson as his biggest influence, released his chart-topping debut EP, Oggi Più che Mai, via Warner Music in May 2017.
