Iván Ayón-Rivas

Operatic tenor Iván Ayón-Rivas has been especially active in Italy, where he was partly trained. He won first prize at the Operalia Competition in 2021. Ayón-Rivas made his debut in Ludwigshafen, Germany, in 2014, appearing in a charity concert featuring the Philharmonic Orchestra of La Scala. Ayón-Rivas has performed in several major productions of Verdi's Rigoletto. Ayón-Rivas' career took a major step forward in 2021 when he won First Prize, the Don Plácido Domingo Ferrer Prize of Zarzuela, and the Rolex Prize of the Audience at the Operalia Festival. In 2023, Ayón-Rivas made his recording debut, appearing on a recording of Mercadante's Il Proscritto.
