Bullet Dumas

As an ambassador for Filipino roots music, former maths teacher Bullet Dumas conjures Pinoy pride in any genre he chooses to play—from folk to the subtler shades of indie rock. While his riff mastery on acoustic guitar became well known as a third of the folk trio 3D, the elder statesmen of OPM had been paying attention to the young man with blazing fretwork and a golden voice since the Elements National Music Camp of 2010, where Maestro Ryan Cayabyab and guitar icon Francis Reyes were mentors. Dumas now crafts songs about the breadth of the Filipino experience, delivering anthemic, compelling neo-folk that inspires and comforts.
