German Baroque violinist Anne Katharina Schreiber is a longtime member of the Freiburger Barockorchester. She is also a notable educator and has a flourishing solo career with that group, in appearances with other leading European historical performance ensembles, and also in more recent repertory. An early release that featured Schreiber prominently was 1993's Bach, Vivaldi: Overtures, Sinfonias & Concertos. Schreiber has often appeared as a soloist with the Freiburger Barockorchester. Schreiber is also a member of Trio Vivente, with pianist Jutta Ernst and cellist Kristin von der Goltz. Schreiber has appeared on several albums, including a 2023 album featuring Schumann's Piano Quartet in E flat major, Op. 47, and Piano Quintet in E flat major, Op. 44.
