iTunes Festival: London 2012 - EP

Singer/songwriter Norah Jones had made the full transition from reflective jazz-influenced adult pop artist to haunting college rock experimentalist with her fifth album, 2012's Little Broken Hearts, which was produced and cowritten by Brian “Danger Mouse” Burton. The first four selections of this live set are from that album, with Jones on electric piano for the hazy “Take It Back” and the hypnotically poppy “Happy Pills” before switching to electric guitar on the neo–murder ballad “Miriam” and the Western noirish title track. With creatively simpatico backing from her four-piece band, Jones closes out this EP with a song from 2009’s The Fall (the guitar-oriented “Stuck”) and an acoustic reading, complete with accordion and double bass, of “Sunrise” from 2004's Feels Like Home. This EP also includes videos for performances of “Little Broken Hearts” and “Sunrise.”
