Maná's rock-inspired tunes have echoes of Led Zeppelin's spiralling ballads and The Police's mesmeric New Wave odes, but Spanish pop innovators like Mecano and Hombres G motivated them to add bright Latin instrumentals, synths and bouncing, singalong choruses. Salsa, bolero and reggae also feature, with Bob Marley adding swinging beats and simple yet evocative lyrics.
