The six friends from Sabadell comprising 31 FAM started out making music for fun. But their crisp trilingual hooks and addictive mix of reggaetón-inspired rhythms and melancholy trap anthems have racked up the streams and fuelled a strong fan following. From their first song in 2017 to signing with Delirics to drop debut album TR3TZE two years later, 31 FAM are pioneering a new brand of Catalonian hip-hop. They can be candidly introspective (“El Nostre Últim Ball”) while serving pure dancefloor energy (“Amb Tu”)—a natural duality that defines their creative identity.
