About Sinergia

Chilean hard rock group Sinergia surfaced in the mid-90's, quickly taking their place on the cutting edge of South American experimental contemporary music. Mixing elements of funk, metal, Pájaro, electronic music and more, Sinergia has caught the ear of experimental music fans world wide. Band members Rodrigo Osorio (vocals), Pedro Pedrales (guitar), Alexis González (bass), Bruno Godoy (drums), Paul Eberhard (DJ) and Jaime García Silva (DJ) came together in the mid-90's, recording their first demo in '98. Apoyando La Demencia opened doors for the group to record their full length debut record, the self-titled Sinergia. Soon singles and music videos "Mujer Robusta" and "ChileRobot" earned the group national notoriety. The band simultaneously concentrated effort on regional touring and writing and recording the material that would comprise their sophomore release. Procésalo Todo was released in 2004, lead to success on the strength of hit single "Mi Señora." Sinergia began to enjoy celebrity the reached far beyond the borders of their native Chile. With fans throughout the Spanish speaking world, expectations for their third original release Delirio were high. Released in 2007, the record generated the band's most successful single to date, "Te Enojai por Todo." In addition to a strong presence on airplay charts, the song won "Best Video of the Year" in Chile. In August of that year Sinergia celebrated their 15th birthday with a concert in the famous Teatro Teletón. The live concert footage became the band's first DVD release. Dilirio maintained a strong presence on Latin American charts well into 2008, establishing Sinergia as one of South America's most significant musical exports. ~ Evan C. Gutierrez
