Nat Turner

About Nat Turner

Named after a U.S. slave rebellion leader, the group Nat Turner started out as Black Milk's backing band. Featuring Malik Hunter on bass, Zebulun "Z" Horton on guitar, and Aaron "Ab" Abernathy on keyboards, the group toured with the Detroit MC since 2010, but it wasn't until 2016 that they were referred to as Nat Turner. Two volumes of the EP Sunday Outtakes were uploaded that year before The Rebellion Sessions album was issued as a Black Milk and Nat Turner release. The album appeared on Milk's own label, Computer Ugly. ~ David Jeffries
