Swedish synth duo NASA, comprised of Patrik Henzel and Martin Thors, scored a Top Ten hit in its native country with the throbbing, strongly Human League-flavored "Paula." Though subsequent full-length POWER OF THE CENTURY spun off a series of singles in Sweden, success in the rest of the world remained elusive, with a planned U.S. album scrapped following the Challenger tragedy, and a change of direction at the label. Henzel and Thors reunited to record REMEMBERING THE FUTURE, a charming update of mid-period Kraftwerk, in 1999; the album saw release in the U.S. the following year.
