About Lost Tapes

Cataluña, Spain's Lost Tapes were formed in 2012 by Pau Roca and RJ Sinclair. Both members had found success in other bands: Roca in La Habitación Roja, and Sinclair in Tokyo Sex Destruction. Despite their other associations, the duo maintained that Lost Tapes was anything but a side project. Following a string of digital single releases that echoed the jangling guitars and melodic power pop of the C-86 scene, Lost Tapes released their debut long-player in 2016. Let's Get Lost captured the sounds of their influences while maintaining a fresh approach. Roca and Sinclair swiftly followed that record in 2017 with We Thought It Was Okay at the Time, which collected the singles that pre-dated their album. ~ Bekki Bemrose
