About Los Gran Reyes
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Being the opening act for popular artists like: Banda El Recodo, Binomio de Oro, Patrulla 81, Celso Piña, Aniceto Molina, just to name a few. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Deftones, White Pony Los Gran Reyes, Le Pongo Sabor The Mars Volta, Frances the Mute Le Pongo Sabor is just a hyped-banging album. It was our debut album, with many of my first musical compositions. White Pony is just a vibe. Frances the Mute for the highly layered instrumentals and the fusion of different musical styles. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sonido De Tambor” This was the first song we composed/produced while being early teens in high school. Highly inspired by the Dallas Mexican club scene & local Quinceañeras. This song opened a lot of doors for us to tour many cities in Texas and neighboring states. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing for 8000+ people in a street festival in Dallas TX. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Many things left on our bucket list. Cumbia isn't dead and we're just getting started. We keep innovating our style and sound to reach more listeners.
