In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember hearing 'Fast Car' by Tracy Chapman as a child and just falling in love with the song like I had never in my life before. That feeling, that moment, I think is why I am an artist today. I long for that feeling even in my creation What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chance the Rapper, Acid Rap Earl Sweatshirt, Some Rap Songs Frank Ocean, Blonde These albums changed my life. At whatever point I was when they dropped, my life changed. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sounds of Silence” I was in the height of my depression when I made this and somehow making this one song, sort of, made me feel lighter, subsequently the whole project had a healing effect. The more I got deep into making it, the more I,in a way, healed myself. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having people reach out and just talk to me about how my music has helped them through something. That's stuff you cant buy anywhere man, it hits home. Just knowing that someone out there really listened to my music and felt something. pure bliss! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To keep going hard and expand my reach I guess. To just be the artist I can be, maximized. To see how far we can take this thing.
