God's Hate

God's Hate are a metallic hardcore band from Van Nuys, California co-founded by drummer/guitarist/composer Colin Young (Twitching Tongues) and vocalist/lyricist/professional wrestler Brody King. Their sound melds classic-sounding hardcore deeply influenced by the East Coast hardcore scene of the 1980s and '90s with thrash and groove metal tenets. Divine Injustice, their debut EP, appeared in 2014 and was followed by the Father Inferior EP the next year. Mass Murder, their debut long-player, appeared from the renowned Closed Casket Activities to universally positive reviews in 2018, providing international touring opportunities. In the aftermath, the band underwent personnel changes -– Young switched from guitar to drums (his brother Troy assumed guitar duties), and King's wrestling career took off as he joined the stables of Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. After an extended break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, God's Hate returned with their self-titled second album in 2021.
