Bobby Fuller

About Bobby Fuller

In the mid-1960s, Texas rocker Bobby Fulller championed the old-school rock-&-roll values of artists like Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran. With his group, the Bobby Fuller Four, he enjoyed a brief moment in the sun, scoring three hits in '65 and '66, "Let Her Dance," the classic "I Fought the Law," and a cover of Holly's "Love's Made a Fool of You." Unfortunately, his career was a short one, as he was found dead--amid suspicions of foul play--in July of '66. His work lived on after him, as "I Fought the Law" became a much-covered rock-&-roll standard.
