Known as the lead singer of Funset and a vocalist with Habanot Nechama, singer/songwriter Karolina struck out on her own in 2009, mixing funk, reggae and neo soul with her unique vocals on her What Shall I Do Now? full-length. Coming off an English-language collaboration with Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest, Karolina strikes a playful, retro note with her third Hebrew album. Highlights from this diverse collection include the dreamy space-age pop single "Anan" (Cloud) with its soaring chorus, as well as the loungey bossa nova of "Matay" (When)—and the gentle reggae lilt of "Olamo Ha-Pnimi shel Ha-Chalal Ha-Chitson" (The Inner World of Outer Space).
