La Orquesta Joven is a merengue group whose albums include 3RA Oportunidad (1991), 7 Anos Contigo (1992), ¡Guayao Varon! (1994), and Pa' los Que Decían (1997). Comprised of Chano, Fhey, Joel, and Neit, the group remained active in later years; based in the Bronx, NY, it sometimes billed itself as La Orquesta Joven & Chano. ~ Jason Birchmeier
