In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to music in the backset of my Dad's VW Beetle as a kid. We would drive to the beach in the summer, with sunshine coming through the windows singing along to The Beach Boys, David Bowie, The Kinks, The Cure, Fleetwood Mac and country hits. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Harry Styles, Harry's House Taylor Swift, folklore The 1975, Being Funny In a Foreign Language I initially chose a David Bowie, Simon & Garfunkel and Fleetwood Mac album. But I wanted to choose my most recent fave albums - though in doing so, I realised there's a lot of similarities, storytelling lyrics, heart-felt emotion & melodies for days Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lose Myself” I wrote this song after a ridiculous argument with an ex-girlfriend. I noticed half-way through we were just calling each other stupid names trying to win the war, but in the end I'd realised I'd rather lose myself a little than lose her altogether. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening the main stage at BBC's Big Weekend Festival. Being on the line up with Wet Leg, Nails Horan and Lewis Capaldi. Lewis even gave me a shout out on stage during his own set! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Jools Holland, Tiny Desk & another BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. Supporting Taylor, Harry or the 1975. Spreading the message of hope, joy & freedom to many new people in as many new countries as I can.
