About Dirty On Purpose

Dirty On Purpose is a Brooklyn-based indie rock band heavily inspired by the shoegazer acts of the 1980s and early '90s. Forming in 2002, the original lineup of the band consisted of guitarists Joseph Jurewicz and George Wilson, keyboardist Erika Forster, bassist DJ Boudreau, and drummer Doug Marvin. Following their debut EP, 2004's SLEEP LATE FOR A BETTER TOMORROW, Forster left to start her own band, the indie electronic trio Au Revoir Simone. Continuing as a quartet, the band released their full-length debut, HALLELUJAH SIRENS, in 2006.
